spring
when my moccasins hit the earth you feel it
my hearts gleaming
sounds of the sun that
only my grandpa hears
is keeping
the climate at bay
i’m a tangerine and the disappearing bees
keep coming after me
buzz, sing, air electri-flying
but when my moccasins hit the earth they feel it
my riverveins reach the sun sets
sights on a future
that the youth dream
and where our elders foresee
spring
